Abstract

The article deals with the transformation of myth in A. Sokurov’s “Moloch”. The author investigates the mountain mythology in German culture and connects it with the neo-mythology created by A. Sokurov. He also analyses the three incarnations of Moloch: Adolf Hitler, the Nazi ideology and entropy.
